1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, browsing, or using the CursiveToText.com website and any of its associated tools and services (collectively, the "Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and CursiveToText.com ("we," "us," or "our").
If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you must not access or use the Service. Your continued use of the Service following the posting of any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.
You represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years of age. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agrees to these Terms on your behalf. The Service is not directed at children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
2. Description of Service
CursiveToText.com provides a suite of free online tools related to cursive handwriting and text conversion. The Service currently includes:
- Cursive to Text Converter: An AI-powered optical character recognition (OCR) tool that allows users to upload images of cursive handwriting and extract the text content into editable digital format. This tool uses cloud-based machine learning to analyze handwriting patterns and produce text output.
- Text to Cursive Generator: A tool that converts typed text into various cursive and handwriting font styles. Users can preview different cursive fonts in real-time and copy the generated cursive text for use in documents, social media, invitations, and other creative projects.
- Cursive Alphabet Guide: An interactive educational reference displaying all 26 letters of the English alphabet in both uppercase and lowercase cursive forms. The guide includes visual examples designed to help users learn and practice proper cursive letterforms.
- Cursive Practice Book: A worksheet generator that creates printable cursive writing practice templates. Users can generate customized practice sheets with various template styles and export them as PDF files for printing.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice. We may also add new features or tools to the Service from time to time. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.
3. User Accounts & Registration
CursiveToText.com does not require users to create an account, register, or provide any personal information to use the Service. All tools are freely accessible without login credentials, email verification, or any form of user authentication.

Each visit to the website is independent, and we do not track individual user sessions across visits beyond standard anonymous analytics (described in our Privacy section below).
Should we introduce account-based features in the future, these Terms will be updated accordingly, and you will be notified of any changes at the time of registration.

Our Content
The Service and its original content (excluding user-uploaded content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of CursiveToText.com and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of CursiveToText.com.

User Content
You retain all ownership rights to the images you upload and the text extracted from those images. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your uploaded content or the resulting text output. The extracted text is yours to use as you see fit, subject to applicable laws and these Terms.
Open Source & Third-Party Fonts
Some components of the Service may incorporate open-source software libraries and third-party font families (including fonts from Google Fonts). These components are subject to their respective open-source licenses. Use of fonts obtained through the Text to Cursive tool is subject to the license terms of each individual font family. Most fonts from Google Fonts are licensed under the SIL Open Font License, which permits use in personal and commercial projects.
6. User Content & Uploads
When you upload an image to the Cursive to Text converter, you grant us a limited, temporary, non-exclusive license to process the image solely for the purpose of providing text extraction services to you. This license is automatically revoked upon completion of the text extraction process.
By uploading content to our Service, you represent and warrant that:
- You own or have the necessary rights and permissions to use and upload the content
- The content does not violate any applicable law or regulation
- The content does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other rights of any third party
- The content does not contain any material that is unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or objectionable
Image Processing and Deletion: Uploaded images are transmitted securely to our processing servers (and to the Google Cloud Vision API for analysis), processed in real-time, and immediately deleted upon completion of text extraction. We do not store, archive, cache, or retain any uploaded images beyond the duration of the processing request. We do not review, moderate, or manually inspect uploaded images.
File Limitations: Uploaded files must not exceed 10MB in size. We accept files in the following formats: JPEG, PNG, GIF, WEBP, and PDF. Files that do not meet these requirements will be rejected automatically.

- Secure transmission: All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS protocols
GDPR Compliance
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), we are committed to compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Because we do not collect or store personal data, our data processing activities are minimal. If you believe we have processed your personal data in error, please contact us using the information in Section 15 below.
CCPA Compliance
For users who are California residents, we respect your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Because we do not sell personal information and collect minimal data, most CCPA provisions do not apply to our Service. However, you retain the right to request information about any data we may hold and to request deletion of that data.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with and relies upon certain third-party services to provide its functionality. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that your data may be processed by the following third-party services:
- Google Cloud Vision API: Used for AI-powered handwriting recognition and text extraction. When you upload an image for cursive-to-text conversion, the image is securely transmitted to Google Cloud servers for processing. Google processes this data in accordance with the Google Cloud Terms of Service and Google Cloud Data Processing Terms.
- Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics that help us improve the Service. This may include information such as pages visited, time spent on pages, browser type, and approximate geographic location. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.
- Google AdSense: We may display advertisements through Google AdSense to support the free operation of the Service. Google may use cookies and web beacons to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- Google Fonts: We use Google Fonts to provide cursive and handwriting font styles in the Text to Cursive tool. Font files are loaded from Google servers, which may log standard web request data.
- Hosting & CDN Providers: The Service is hosted on cloud infrastructure that may include content delivery networks (CDNs) to ensure fast load times globally. These providers may process standard web request data (IP addresses, browser information) as part of their service delivery.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices, terms of service, or content of any third-party services. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of these third-party services independently. Links to third-party websites or services that may appear on our website do not constitute endorsement by us.

- Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of text extraction results
- Warranties that defects in the Service will be corrected

Accuracy Disclaimer: The text extraction results produced by our AI-powered handwriting recognition are generated by machine learning algorithms and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. The accuracy of results depends on factors including image quality, handwriting legibility, and the complexity of the cursive style. You acknowledge that the extracted text should be reviewed and verified before relying on it for any important purpose. We do not guarantee any specific level of accuracy.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL CURSIVETOTEXT.COM, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
This limitation includes, without limitation, damages for:
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
- Business interruption or loss of business information
- Inaccurate text extraction results or reliance on such results
- Loss of or damage to uploaded content
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data
- Any other pecuniary loss arising from the use or inability to use the Service
This limitation of liability applies whether the alleged liability is based on contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other legal theory, even if CursiveToText.com has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for certain types of damages, our liability shall be limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CursiveToText.com, its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

13. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to revise, update, or otherwise modify these Terms of Service at any time and at our sole discretion. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
Material changes to these Terms will be indicated by updating the effective date. Because we do not collect user email addresses or maintain user accounts, we are unable to provide direct notification of changes. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed about our terms and conditions.
Your continued use of the Service after any modifications to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must discontinue use of the Service.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be eliminated or limited to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions of these Terms will continue in full force and effect.
The failure of CursiveToText.com to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision. A waiver of any provision of these Terms will only be effective if in writing and signed by an authorized representative of CursiveToText.com.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and CursiveToText.com regarding the use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
